PHS vs FHS

Game Night in the swamp became Halloween Homecoming night this past Friday, as the Green Wave hosted the Bulldogs of Fontainbleau.  The game started with a Green Wave punt blocked in the end zone and recovered by the Bulldogs for a quick TD (extra point failed).  Unfortunately for the Bulldogs, that was their only highlight in what became a defensive battle.  Both, the Wave and the Dawgs, were held scoreless by the opposing team’s defense, until late in the 4th quarter when Tig Palmer hit Joe Green on a 37 yard pass for the game tying touchdown.  Russ Bratton came on to attempt the game winning extra point and nailed it through the uprights to give the Wave another district win.

Offensively the Wave was led by Tig Palmer with 72 yards passing and a touchdown and Joe Green with 103 all purpose yards and a receiving touchdown.  Dylan Ellerman also came up big for the Wave with 3 catches for 35 yards.

Defensively the stats are as follows:

Trey Howard    3 primaries

Anthony Parazzo 2 primaries 1 tackle for loss

Jonathan Kinchen        4 primaries          1 sack

Zack Stevenson     6 primaries    2 tackles for loss    1 sack

Kaleb Muse   10 primaries        1 interception

Ben Schaff        5 primaries

Livingston Hamilton     5 primaries    1 interception

The Green Wave continues their push to the post season this Friday night against the Tornadoes of Hammond High.  Come out and be a part of the Green Wave Nation.
