GREEN WAVE vs. Walker
In a unique Wednesday night contest in the Swamp, the Greenwave took on the Walker Wildcats and came out victorious 39 – 8. The Wave jumped ahead of the Wildcats in the 1st half and never looked back.
In the first, half the Wave 1st team offense took only 16 plays to score 6 touchdowns. The Wave running backs ran allover the field racking up over 240 yards rushing. They were lead by Joe Green with 81 yards and 2 TDs, Blake Short with 31 yards and 1 TD, and Cody Gueldner with 32 yards and 1 TD.
On the passing side, the Wave Quarterbacks were 3 of 7 for 44 yards and 1 TD to Jeremy Dehnel.
Defensively, the Greenwave were led by
